Oran Daffron

Oran Daffron, 80, passed away at the CHI Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Susan Reed officiating. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Oran and his family.

Oran E. Daffron Jr. son of Oran Ezra Sr. and Dorothy Marie (Ward) Daffron was born on September 24, 1946, in Altus, OK. Following graduation he enlisted and served with the United States Army.
On September 10, 1971, he married Linda Mendenhall. The couple was blessed with two daughters Jennifer and Courtney. The couple later divorced. On August 21,1981 he married Georgia Morrison. The couple was blessed with a daughter Erin.
Oran enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting, watching Oklahoma Sooner football, listening to Bob Segar music; most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Oran is preceded in death by his parents; wife Georgia; grandson Alex Roberts; sister Pat Grancer.
Oran is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Teegarden and her husband Tony of Silver City, Courtney Rogers and Edwin Rogers of Council Bluffs, and Erin Daffron and her fiancé Steven Liford of Council Bluffs; step-daughter Brandi Roberts and her husband Todd of Glenwood;12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of many special friends.
