Mark Vincent Driscoll, 70 of Glenwood, IA, passed away on December 31, 2020 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Mark was born on November 29, 1950 in Omaha, one of five children of Maurice Vincent and Mary Louise (Rivard) Driscoll. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Omaha. Mark worked as a semi-truck driver for Red Giant Oil in Council Bluffs, IA, hauling locomotive engine oil throughout North America until his retirement.

Mark and Coleen Ann Milbourne were united in marriage on June 22, 1968 in Omaha. They lived in Omaha until they moved to an acreage south of Hastings, Iowa in 1990. Their marriage was blessed with four sons, Mark, Matthew, Paul and Jon. The couple owned and operated C & M's Café in Malvern, Iowa. They divorced in 2012 but remained friends. Mark cooked the Saturday and Sunday breakfasts at the café until his health declined. He was pretty knowledgeable about current events and loved to reminisce about the good old days of growing up in Omaha. Mark kept his customers entertained with stories of his travels and places he visited.

Mark loved playing golf with his sons and good friend Rich Buxter. He was a huge Nebraska fan and attended several Nebraska bowl games with his sons. Mark had a chance to watch the Yankees play baseball when he toured the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Mark loved hockey, especially watching games his sons, Paul and Jon, grandsons, Joel and Ryan, and granddaughter Madeline, played in.

Mark loved vintage cars. His pride and joy was his 1960 red Pontiac Catalina. His most memorable trip with his sons, Mark, Matt and Jon, was to go to Cincinnati, Ohio and attend a four day event for the O' Driscoll North American Clan reunion. Mark enjoyed talking on the phone with his kids and grandkids.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Mark (Sherry) Driscoll of Papillion, NE and their sons, Andrew Driscoll and his fiancé Karmin Moncrief, and Jack Driscoll, Matt (Lynn) Driscoll of Cedar Creek, NE, and their children, Joel (Robyn) Driscoll and their son Morrison "baby Mo", Stephen Driscoll, and Madeline Driscoll and her fiancé Terrance Ball, Paul (Chris) Driscoll of Omaha and their son Ryan Driscoll, and Jon (Chris) Driscoll of Scottsdale, AZ, and their children, Quinn Driscoll and Kennedy Driscoll; siblings, Paul (Margie) Driscoll, Michelle (Jeff) Comer, Claudia (Patrick) O'Malley, and Neil (Kathy) Driscoll, all of Omaha; five nephews; six nieces; former wife of 44 years, Coleen Driscoll, of Hastings; good friend Rich Buxter; other relatives and many friends. Mark will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
