Richard D. Prien, 81, of Bellevue, NE died on May 6, 2022 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Silver City Cemetery in Silver City, IA. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Richard and his family.

Richard Dennis Prien son of Detlef and Irene (Kruse) Prien was born on March 8, 1941 in Glenwood, IA. He graduated from Silver City High School in 1959. He was a over the road truck driver for many years.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Nancy; son, John Prien.
Richard is survived by his wife, Colleen Prien of Bellevue, NE; daughter Kathy Jo Prien of Council Bluffs, IA and Bobbi Johnson of Missouri; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many special friends.
