Michael Doyle, 76, of Hastings, IA passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Charles E. and Florence M. Lakin Community Center in Malvern. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Charles E. and Florence M. Lakin Community Center in Malvern. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Michael and his family.

OBITUARY
Michael Francis Doyle, 76 of Hastings, IA, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his home with his children by his side.
Mike was born on August 24, 1946 in Omaha, NE, one of two children of Francis and Dorothy (Johnson) Doyle. He grew up in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School in 1964.
Mike and his high school sweetheart Sandy Beutel were married on August 24, 1964 in Pocatello, Idaho. In 1971, they moved to live near Hastings, where Mike started his business, Doyle Floor Covering. Their marriage was blessed with three children, JoAnne, James and Kathleen.
Mike enjoyed playing snooker, bowling, fishing, and hunting, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and was a great supporter of his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and a good friend to all who knew him.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Dorothy; his beloved wife Sandy in 2014; sister-in-law Kathy Herrley; and brothers-in-law, Jim (Barb) Beutel and Dan Beutel.
Mike is survived by his children, Joni Ryan and husband Pat of Knoxville, IA, Jim Doyle and wife Melonie of Hastings, and Katie Mauer and husband Tony of Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren, Jake (Kaitlin) Doyle, Jason (Kaylee) Ryan, Erik Ryan and fiance Taylor Wright, Jess (Conner) Hanafan, Kelsey Ryan, Addison Mauer, and Delaney Mauer; four great grandchildren, Gavin and Evelyn Doyle, and Aiden and Savanna Ryan; sister Bonnie Woodard and husband Jerry of Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law, Linda (Randy) Roberts, Margie (Mike) VanVoltenberg, and Amy (David) Jarrell; brothers-in-law, Carl (Terri) Beutel, Bob (Julie) Beutel, and Pat (Judy) Herrley; and many other relatives and friends.
