OBITUARY
Heath Holmes, 39, of Glenwood, IA, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Heath was born on October 21, 1983 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of James Lincoln and Michelle Marie (Rohrberg) Holmes. He graduated in 2002 from the Glenwood High School. Heath was employed as a train conductor for Iowa Interstate Railroad.
Heath and Laurie Huston were married on October 12, 2013. They were blessed with a daughter Harper.
Heath enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being a dad to their daughter Harper. Heath was a wonderful dad, husband, son, grandson, nephew, and a good friend to all who knew and loved him.
Heath was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and aunts, Melodye Blackman and Merillee Waugh.
Heath is survived by wife Laurie and their daughter Harper of Glenwood; parents, Jim and Michelle Holmes of Pacific Junction, IA; sister Hilleary Schrage and husband Mike and their children, Vance and Emery of Pacific Junction; aunts, Debra Feller of Plattsmouth, NE, and Marilyn Hagerbaumer and husband Kevin of Roca, NE; several cousins, and a host of friends.
