Diana Goodman, 69, of Malvern, IA, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern. Burial will be in the Malvern Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Diana and her family.

Diana Lynn Goodman, 69 of Malvern, IA, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Diana was born on October 20, 1953 in Council Bluffs, IA, one of four children of Raymond Marvin and Delomia LaVon (Howser) Goldsberry. She grew up in Malvern and graduated from Malvern High School with the class of 1971. Diana was employed as nursing home administrator and later as a residential treatment worker at the Glenwood Resource Center, until her retirement.

Diana and Paul Charles Goodman were united in marriage on March 21, 1975 in Glenwood, IA. She and Paul were married 44 years, when he passed away on November 28, 2019.

Diana enjoyed reading, drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, and playing scratch-off tickets. She loved spending time with her dog Angel and especially with her family, grandkids, and great grands.

In addition to her husband Paul, Diana was preceded in death by her sister Rita Stacy and husband Dean.

Diana is survived by daughters, Gayla Pittman (Charles) of Arkadelphia, AR and Shanna Coleman (Jon) of Cardwell, MO; grandchildren, Shania Higgins (fiancé Tyler Kelso), Michaela Goodman (fiancé Rachel Whited), and Caiden, Austin, and Seth Coleman; great grandchildren, Remington, Theo, and Noah; parents, Raymond and Delomia Goldsberry of Malvern; sister Sandra Harvey (Lane) of Farragut, IA; brother Jeff Goldsberry of Malvern; other relatives and friends.
